  • The applicant should be a native of Uttar Pradesh and the age of the student should be 18 years.

The income limit of parents has also been fixed to avail the benefits of the sponsorship scheme. The annual income of parents living in rural areas should not be more than Rs 72,000, similarly in urban areas the maximum should not be more than Rs 96,000. If both the parents of the child have died, then in such a situation the rule of annual or maximum income limit of the family will not apply.
